Treatments
Hollywood Peel
A: We use fast-drying, medical-grade activated carbon that makes the treatment quick and effective.
A: Although it will depend on the condition of your skin and the desired effects, one session per month for four months is recommended in order to retain these effects for approximately one year.
A: Yes. One of the best qualities of this treatment is how it regulates the production of sebum in the face. In addition, the laser has the ability to destroy the bacteria found in acne lesions.
A: You should allow approximately one month between each session.
A: During the first hours and days, we recommend avoiding pressure or clothing friction on or around the area. Also, we recommend applying sunscreen and washing your face twice a day without irritating agents or accessories (such as a sponge or brush).
A: In the first hours and days, it is best to avoid washing with very hot water and/or harsh soaps.
A: It is recommended to wait 1 or 2 days for the skin to breathe after treatment. This will allow for regeneration and the return of a natural glow. We recommend using dermocosmetic makeup.
In our Virtual Store we have foundation for the bare-skin effect. Click HERE.
We have powder foundation, too. Click HERE.
Chemical Peeling
A: Superficial peeling is recommended for women and men who show the first signs of aging. The medium peel is recommended for advancing age, where signs of aging are more noticeable, and for deeper marks and scars.
At Dr. Abraham Cazares, Aesthetic Medicine, we carry out assessments that will detect the best treatment for your skin.
A: With the chemical peel we have the option of treating problems that require a treatment to go a bit deeper. The Hollywood peel works on the top layer and perfects the skin superficially.
A: In general, when it is a superficial peel, you can apply makeup after 24 hours. In the case of a medium peel, you will need to wait until after the skin peels, indicating that it has completely regenerated.
A: It depends on the condition of your skin, response to treatment and the condition being treated. For deep scars or blemishes, between 6 and 12 sessions are recommended. Results will be apparent after 3 sessions.
A: In the case of a superficial peel, they can be done once a month for 4 to 6 months. Meanwhile, the medium peel is recommended every month for 6 to 8 months. Afterwards, the sessions are repeated every 6 to 8 months. In some cases, they can be repeated every 12 months.
A: Do not use harsh soaps or very hot water when washing your face. Avoid friction with clothing and use a moisturizer and sunscreen. You can use cold compresses. It is important not to remove the flakes yourself, but to let them fall off on their own.
We recommend using our repairing moisturizing cream, click HERE. And our sunscreen, click HERE.
Botox
A: No. Botox does not cause swelling or add volume.
A: It is important that you do not massage or put pressure on the area during the first 24 hours after treatment. You should avoid sports and using swimming pools during these 24 hours as well.
Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Do not touch the affected area. It is also recommended that you do not receive other invasive aesthetic treatments unless recommended by a doctor.
During the first four hours after application, it’s a good idea to move the area a little as a way to distribute the Botox evenly.
Avoid consuming alcohol and tobacco. Also, it is recommended not to take anticoagulants one week before treatment.
It’s best not to lie down for the first three hours after treatment.
A: Quite the opposite! Our products are guaranteed to prevent rigidity or “freezing” of the features.
A: Your expression lines will not appear as though you’ve had Botox. As muscle mobility decreases in the treated area, your expression lines will also decrease. This will help avoid further wrinkling in the area as well.
A: It is recommended to wait at least 3 hours after receiving the treatment.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
A: It lasts approximately 12 months. The duration can vary according to the type of filler and individual differences in patients.
A: The main concern of patients is what happens when the effect of the application of hyaluronic acid wears off, since there is a belief that the lips will lose structure and become flaccid. We can assure you that this is false. The lips will simply return to their natural state. The consistent use of dermal fillers helps, in subtle ways, to regain some of the volume that is lost over the years.
A: The basic steps for care after the hyaluronic acid application are fairly simple: Do not chew your lip for at least 4 days after the treatment. This will help to keep the shape that is achieved with the filler.
In case of slight inflammation after treatment, we do not recommend applying ice, as this can cause more inflammation. Using an anti-inflammatory prescribed by your doctor will help resolve this quickly.
A: In our medical practice, we recommend not using lipstick on the day of application for hygiene reasons. After one day there should be no issue in using lipstick.
A: In the consultation and medical evaluation the appropriate amount for you is determined. As a general rule, 1 ml of filler is enough to achieve a slight lip contouring and augmentation without the risk of being excessive or exaggerated.
A: Avoid tobacco and alcohol consumption for several days. Do not engage in strenuous sports activities. Do not expose yourself to heat or direct sunlight after treatment. Try not to sleep on your stomach. It is important to remove make-up every day and not to sleep with make-up on.
A: We use Teosyal and Otesaly fillers.
A: 1 session per year. If your goal is to have larger lips than you naturally have, sessions can be held every 6 months until you reach the desired volume.
A: On lips (volume, contour and corner); cheekbones (volume); mouth (wrinkles around the mouth); nasogenian grooves (the expression lines on both sides of the nose towards the mouth); dark circles and crow’s feet (external periocular wrinkles); frown lines and forehead.
A: No. Depending on the area of
A: To eliminate dark circles, we use cross-linked hyaluronic acid with low viscoelasticity so that it naturally integrates with the tear groove tissue without causing fluid retention and swelling.
A: The number of sessions depends on the patient’s dark circles, as there are different types of dark circles and degrees of depth. In some cases, they can be corrected in a single session, in others, the sessions will vary.
At Dr. Abraham Cazares, Aesthetic Medicine, we carry out an exhaustive assessment to find out how many sessions you need to obtain the results you want.
A: Yes. It will depend on the degree of protuberance in the nose to know if you are a candidate for this procedure called Rhinoplasty, since the bone structure is not modified.
A: It consists of non-surgically shaping the nose through applications of hyaluronic acid in the area in order to create balance in the face. Mild bulges or asymmetries are corrected by infiltration of the acid. The acid will provide the necessary volume that will correct the bulge. It is an effective alternative for those who do not want to go through the more invasive surgical procedure.
Microneedling Dermapen
A: Dermapen has no side effects and aftercare is very simple: try not to over-expose yourself to the sun during the first 48 hours; avoid putting on makeup for 24 hours; wash your face with cold water and use a neutral soap. Avoid taking anti-inflammatories such as Ibuprofen. Avoid physical exercise, swimming pools and saunas.
A: Between 3 and 5 sessions per year are recommended, with no less than one month between each session. It can also depend on how long the skin takes to respond to the treatment, as well as the desired results.
A: It is recommended to wait at least 7 days after treatment.
A: Treatment can begin starting from the age of 25 or when the effects of aging become noticeable.
At Dr. Abraham Cázares, Aesthetic Medicine, we believe a preventative approach will yield better results.
Fractional Radio frequency
A: Fractionated Radiofrequency is approximately equivalent to 8 conventional Microneedling treatments, but the recovery time of Fractionated Radiofrequency is longer and requires more care.
A: Aftercare is very basic: avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, use a cream with sunscreen and wash with neutral soaps.
A: At Dr. Abraham Cazares we carry out exhaustive studies of each patient to offer you safe, tested and reliable solutions. All of our personalized treatments are compatible with each other.
In the case of Fractionated Radiofrequency, it is contraindicated for patients with pacemakers or internal defibrillators, a history of skin cancer and endocrine disorders, among others.
It is recommended that patients wait at least 3 weeks after using UVA booths and suntan creams.
If the patient received Botox treatment or hyaluronic acid fillers, a three-month wait is recommended before receiving Fractionated Radiofrequency treatment.
A: Between 1 and 3 sessions are recommended and the results are long lasting.
A: They are visible from the first week.
Plasmapen
A: Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen and their derivatives.
A: Depending on the flaccidity of the skin in that area, between 1 and 3 sessions are required.
A: It lasts up to two years and the treated area will continue to improve for the next 6 months after treatment.
A: It is important not to remove the crusts that form, but to allow them to fall off on their own. Apply a regenerating cream that provides protection from the sun until the skin regenerates (between 4 and 6 weeks). Avoid swimming pools, saunas and prolonged exposure to the sun. Do not apply products that contain alcohol or aromas. Avoid smoking or consuming alcoholic beverages after treatment.
A: Avoid the use of makeup since it is not sterilized. Wait until the scabs come off to apply makeup.
A: One session is required every 6 weeks. Since our approach is preventive to guarantee better results, we suggest performing the treatments at the first signs of flaccidity or aging.
A: After 21 days you can treat the area.
PDO Threads
A: They are made of polydioxanone, a material used in cardiac surgery sutures, as it enhances cell cohesion.
A: The material that makes up the PDO threads is completely safe. This sterile material is compatible with the body and is absorbed after a six-month period.
A: It will depend on the flaccidity of the skin and the areas to be treated. We will carry out a very detailed preliminary clinical study to know exactly how many PDO Threads you need and the degree of tension required.
A: Do not massage the affected area. Try to sleep on your back for 7 to 10 days. Avoid tobacco and alcohol consumption. Use neutral soap and alcohol-free creams. It is recommended not to play sports for 48 hours after application.
A: The treatment will generally last up to a year and a half.
A: The mechanical lifting provided by the PDO Threads is immediate. In addition, due to the production of collagen, the effects are progressively noticeable about 2 or 3 weeks post-treatment.
A: Treatments are recommended for those who are at least thirty years old, although it depends on the state of your skin and the level of flaccidity.
A: The entry point of the PDO threads is performed with a needle, which guarantees that there is no mark left on the face.
Enzymes Treatment
A: It depends on the localized fat, but we recommend up to 6 sessions and about 15 to 21 days between injections.
A: You will begin to see results around 3 days after the application.
A: This is a treatment that is easily tolerated by nearly anyone, except during pregnancy.
A: These enzymes are protein molecules that accelerate the metabolism of localized fat. The treatment enzymes are lipase, collagenase and hyaluronidase.
A: As it is a very minimally invasive procedure, without an operating room or scalpel, you do not require any type of rest and you can resume your daily activities immediately. On the day of the procedure, just avoid going to swimming pools or beaches to prevent infection in the injection site.
A: It is recommended that you lead a healthy lifestyle, with a balanced diet and exercise so that the effects are more lasting. It does not have a “rebound” effect.
A: Enzymes do not require the use of a compression garment to obtain results; but their use, along with daily exercise, can help maximize results.
EMSlim
A: Pregnant women, people with pacemakers, and those with metal protheses in the treatment area should not receive the treatment.
A: Between 4 and 8 sessions are recommended, with an interval of 2 to 3 days between each session.
A: We carry out a thorough clinical study to find out if you are a candidate. It is mainly recommended for people who exercise regularly and eat a balanced diet.
A: The use of a compression garment is not necessary, and it can actually cause the muscles to lose tone.
A: This treatment does not require a recovery period. You can resume your daily activities immediately.
A: Muscle fatigue (sore feeling) for a day or two.
